The Life.Style Edit’s Fall Color Trend report is here!!! We always look forward to bringing you the latest seasonal trends and we’re stepping into Fall. We know fall fashion is usually pretty predictable but not this season; if you are a lover of color, you will not be disappointed!
There will always be the usual fall colors we know and love: burgundy, green, brown, orange, and yellow. These classic hues are familiar and comfortable. Like sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes… you just can’t have the fall season without them. But this year has proven to be unconventional in the fashion world.
Just like Miley and Liam’s break-up, some trends hit us completely off guard (neon?!?). Just when you thought beige was over, Kim Kardashian brought us the-head-to-toe-neutral trend. Am I the only one concerned that I just painted my entire house grey?
I have no idea what the future holds but I can tell you it won’t be what you’re expecting. The fall color trend line-up is unconventional and most definitely not boring. Vibrant color is coming to a boutique near you: Purple, Green, Bright Orange, Hot Pink, and Vanilla Cream are this season’s coveted hues.
Purple Reigns
The weather and the trends have thrown us for a loop this year. Is it Easter? Or Thanksgiving? All I know is purple in every hue is #TrendingNow. Pastels are not just for spring anymore. This takes “transitional wardrobe” to a whole level. In fashion, rules are made to be broken. What type of insanity was not being able to wear white after Labor Day, anyway? Let it go..

Green With Envy
All shades of green are trending this fall: sage green, pistachio, and avocado. Head-to-toe monochromatic color is hot this year. But the unexpected color combination of green and lilac is popping up on some of the most enviable feeds on Instagram.

Hello, Pumpkin
Orange and fall go together like peanut butter and jelly. This is not news. Traditionally, this bold hue is reserved for pumpkins, home decor, and SEC Football. It gets neatly tucked away after Thanksgiving. Not anymore, friends. This year, not having to wear drab fall colors is just one more thing to be grateful for when you gathered around that holiday table. Amen!

Head-to-toe neutrals in every shade of beige are all the rage right now. We’re loving this new spin on “Winter White”. Pantone named this color classic Vanilla Custard but it’s far from bland.
