The 2020 Boutique Awards took place from August 21st to August 31st this year and the final results were announced on September 8th! We want to congratulate the Global Boutique Winner of the Year, The Lace Cactus, and every single boutique who has worked so hard to get where they are today!
The Lace Cactus was also Global Boutique of Year winners in 2017, Texas Boutique of the Year in 2018, and Runner-Up Global Boutique of Year in 2019 so there’s no doubt The Lace Cactus has a strong community around their brand. The owner, Kelsey Powell openly expresses her love for her job and how her customers are now like family.
"My goals for the business are to simply be happy, provide for my family and offer fashionable yet affordable clothing to our local gals and the half million online customers we have. I love my job and the customers that have become my friends. The Lace Cactus Facebook page is like a second family to me. These women are so loyal to us and we are to them. We do not like to compete. I have always been one to do what I want and not really pay attention to what others are doing around me. I am my biggest competition. I constantly strive to be better than I was the day before. To work harder, pray more and stay happy."
