The goal of our site is to provide you with the same feel and service of shopping in our store, located in historic Edenton, North Carolina... but with the convenience of shopping in your pajamas, desk, couch, or even on-the-go. Downtown Diva owner, Candace, is a graduate of East Carolina University. With a Bachelor of Science in Child Life, I taught preschool briefly before pursing my dream and second love of fashion. My love for fashion began as a little girl when I would play dress-up in my Mama's dresses, Nana's high heels, and Gran's pearls. This love remained evident throughout my school years and caught the attention of my peers when they voted me as Best Dressed for my senior class. With an eye for fashion and originality, I pride myself in taking the time to hand pick every single item in our inventory. The boutique receives new inventory several times a week and can be purchased in-store and online. Owning this boutique isn't just a job or something to keep me busy.... It’s my love and passion.
