We all know everything is bigger in Texas, right? Well, coming from a small east Texas town, Jessica was the tall girl with the big dreams, the big smile, the big hair and big determination. After working her way through college at Stephen F. Austin State University and attaining her degree in Fashion Merchandising, Jessica followed her dreams by working all aspects of the fashion retail industry, a rigorous, but rewarding training ground. Being an entrepreneur & owning a boutique has always been a lifelong dream of Jessica’s, fashion has always been in her blood! She has always been entrepreneurial & very driven. The day she turned 16 she started working her first job in in retail at Sears. She wanted a job so she could buy more clothes and shoes of course! While putting herself through college, Jessica made extra money by selling items on ebay. She earned her Fashion Merchandising degree with a minor in business from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2007 and was in the corporate fashion & retail industry for 8 years. She worked for Dillard’s, Stage Stores & Academy Sports & Outdoors. Throughout her professional career in the stores and at the corporate offices she got so much experience that helped her start her own boutique & now her clothing line. After she had her first son in 2014, Jessica became a stay at home mom. Since she was a new mom, she had a hard time finding her NEW style in stores or boutiques. She missed the fashion, clothes and the retail world so Jessica decided to turn her passions and experience into her online boutique, Jess Lea. In three short years Jess Lea has shipped over 10,000 orders, shipped to 10 foreign countries, worked with over 150 amazing fashion bloggers and now there are 4 team members working behind the scenes at Jess Lea. Last year, Jessica started working on designing her own clothing line to add to her online boutique. It was a big investment but she knew it would set her boutique apart because the styles would be designed by her and be sold exclusively at Jess Lea. She has poured her thoughts, ideas and hard work into her exclusive clothing line. It has been an exciting journey for Jessica to see her clothing line come to life. Jess Lea Boutique and now, Jess Lea clothing line, are a culmination of Jessica’s big dreams, her knowledge and love of fashion, her unfailing work ethic and dedication to her loyal customers. Always a work in progress, Jess Lea Boutique and its new clothing line, will continue to provide customers with the latest styles and trends in fashion and excellence in customer service.
